All I know is that I know nothing
You may not find the meaning of life here, but you will find the drinks rather tasty.
Publosophy
has a simple philosophy.
We’re not about academic philosophy.
We’re about living philosophy.
The questions we ask everyday…
Who am I?
What’s the meaning of life?
Is AI ethical or not?
Why does death scare me so much?
Is it unethical not to return my trolley?
Is democracy the answer or the problem?
Which religion is right?
Does language convey true meaning?
Take your mind on an adventure once a month, expand your knowledge, examine your life, meet interesting people and enjoy a drink… just don’t get so drunk that you forget everything the next day!
Our Experiences
Join us for the inaugural Publosophy pub session. Tell your grandkids you were there when it launched. Buy the tee-shirt.
The first event for Publosophy promises to be a night full of insightful conversations, mind-bending philosophical concepts and life-changing ideas. Or at least, that is the intention of the evening.
Our live pub meetups are a great way to discuss philosophy in a friendly social atmosphere, but sometimes that’s just not enough. So we’re going to throw in a second catch up each month, hosted online via video so you can enjoy some engaging philosophical debate in your tracky dacks and uggies. And don’t forget your favourite tipple!
Are pub chats not quenching your thirst for philosophical knowledge? Join the Publosophy Academy and enjoy access to exclusive content including articles, interviews, reading lists and reviews, early bird notifications for events and workshops and priority access to all Publosophy meet-ups, online sessions and events.
